A high school counselor position is available for a contract covering maternity leave from March 2, 2026, through June 5, 2026. This onsite role is based in Arlington, TX, and involves providing support to high school students during this period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic, career, and emotional counseling to high school students
  • Assist students with college and career planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
  • Address student behavioral and social issues as needed
  • Maintain confidential student records and comply with school policies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid counseling certification or license appropriate for a high school setting
  • Experience working as a counselor in secondary education
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
  • Knowledge of student development and counseling techniques

Location:

  • Arlington, TX (onsite position)

Contract Details:

  • Contract duration: March 2, 2026 June 5, 2026
  • Approximately 35 hours per week
