Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Join Our Growing ABA Family!

Location: In Home Service in Humble

Job Type: Part-time (12-15 hrs/wk)

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Greater Houston, Texas. As an RBT, you'll work directly with clients, providing one-on-one therapy to help them develop new skills and reduce challenging behavior. You'll play a vital role in implementing treatment plans and making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their families.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Implementing Treatment Plans: You'll work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver individualized treatment plans. These plans are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy and support to clients in various settings, including their homes, schools, clinics, and in the community.
  • Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client progress using a provided electronic system. This data helps the BCBA adjust and improve the treatment plan.
  • Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with the supervising BCBA, parents, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and effective approach.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude. You are a key part of our clients' success.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Experience: Previous experience working with children with special needs is preferred.

· Education: A High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus. Current active RBT certification in good standing or willing to work towards certification within 90 days of hiring.

· Skills & Qualities: Strong communication skills, patience, high energy, time management skills, compassion, and empathy are essential. You should also be reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

· Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
