A part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) position is available to provide counseling services in a K-12 school setting. This itinerant role involves supporting multiple schools within the district to address the individual educational and emotional needs of students.
Location:
- Mansfield, Texas
- On-site role covering six schools within the district
- Contract duration: ASAP 5/21/26
- Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 50 students with individual IEPs requiring school-based counseling services of varied duration
- Collaboration: Work alongside two other on-site LPCs to serve the shared caseload
- Documentation: Maintain progress updates in the districts documentation system
- Masters degree in Counseling
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential required
- TEA School Counselor certificate required
- Experience providing school-based counseling services
- Strong ability to manage multiple cases and collaborate with fellow counselors
- Deliver individual counseling sessions aligned with student IEPs
- Monitor student progress and document counseling outcomes accurately
- Provide support to students with diverse needs across multiple school sites
- Coordinate with educational staff and families as needed to promote student wellbeing
- Maintain compliance with district policies and counseling standards
