About Us

BCBA Fieldwork Supervision Opportunity (No Supervision Fee)

Applied By Angels provides free, structured BCBA fieldwork supervision to qualified ABA graduate students who are completing supervised hours under the BACB requirements. This opportunity allows students to accrue high-quality fieldwork hours directly supervised by Jasmine Ussery, MA, BCBA, while providing meaningful support to learners in real-world educational settings.

We are a professional, agile, and culturally responsive ABA organization. Our mission is to deliver services that respect family values, cultural context, and ethical standards while supporting both clients and developing clinicians.

Our Work Environment Includes:

  • Direct and responsive BCBA supervision
  • Ethical, BACB-aligned fieldwork structure
  • Culturally aware and trauma-informed practice
  • Supportive, safe, and professional learning environment
  • Emphasis on clinical reasoning and skill development

Position Overview

We are seeking a BCBA graduate student to complete supervised fieldwork hours while serving as a 1:1 Behavior Technician in a school setting with a middle school student. This role is designed specifically for students who wish to earn supervised fieldwork hours instead of paying a monthly BCBA supervision fee (typically ~$600/month).

The student will implement ABA-based interventions during the school day and participate in structured supervision, training, and case review with the supervising BCBA in accordance with BACB standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA interventions in a school-based 1:1 setting under BCBA supervision
  • Follow behavior intervention plans, skill-acquisition programs, and data-collection procedures with fidelity
  • Collect accurate, objective data on behavior and skill acquisition for clinical review
  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA regarding progress, barriers, and treatment adjustments
  • Participate in scheduled supervision meetings, case reviews, and competency-based feedback
  • Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and BACB ethics
  • Communicate effectively with school staff as appropriate and within defined professional boundaries

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a BACB-approved Master’s or Doctoral ABA program
  • Actively pursuing BCBA certification and supervised fieldwork hours
  • Active RBT certification (or eligibility to maintain RBT status during fieldwork)
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and clinical judgment
  • Ability to work independently while receiving and incorporating supervisory feedback
  • Reliable transportation to the assigned school location
  • Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and learner-centered practice

Supervision & Compensation Structure

  • BCBA supervision provided at no cost in exchange for volunteer fieldwork participation
  • Supervision hours structured to meet BACB fieldwork requirements
  • This is not a paid BCBA supervision arrangement and does not involve a monthly supervision fee
  • Role is designed for clinical training, skill development, and professional growth

Why This Opportunity

This position offers BCBA students a cost-effective, high-quality supervision experience in a real-world educational environment while making a meaningful difference for a student and school community. If you are seeking ethical supervision, applied experience, and a supportive learning structure, we encourage you to apply.
