Mental Health Provider – Job Description
Overview
Solace Counseling Associates is looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Mental Health Providers. This role is open to graduate-level interns, pre-licensed clinicians, and fully licensed professionals who are passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through a variety of mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapeutic services to clients in outpatient, community-based, or telehealth settings.
- Assist with intake assessments and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision (if applicable).
- Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
- Participate in crisis intervention and apply effective de-escalation strategies as needed.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and protect the confidentiality of all client records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support whole-person care.
- Support clients working through trauma, grief, relational distress, addiction, or developmental challenges.
- Contribute to a culture of learning, growth, and clinical excellence.
Required & Preferred Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Foundational knowledge (or willingness to learn) clinical techniques such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
- Experience or interest in working with children, teens, families, or individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with electronic health records, medical documentation, and diagnostic assessments.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and remote care delivery is a plus.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and ongoing professional development.
Support & Supervision
- Clinical supervision is provided for interns and pre-licensed clinicians working toward LPCC, LMFT, or LICSW licensure.
