Social Worker-Temporary The Wilkin County Health and Human Services Department is seeking a temporary full-time Social Worker. The Wilkin County Social Worker position under direction, performs work in providing social work services on cases involving complex social problems and social treatment plans; performs responsible and difficult casework, directs service programs or provides work direction to paraprofessional staff; and performs related work as assigned. The position requires an individual to assess a situation, utilize available resources with limited direction, develop and implement case plans with input from counselors, co-workers, and other service providers as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree rom an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology, or closely related field
- Or; A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency.
Preference will be given to applicants who are currently employed in a county social service agency.
Salary & Benefits
County employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering. Starting Salary Range: $30.51 - $42.23 per hour.
