Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pennsylvania school district is seeking a Full-Time School Psychologist to support elementary and middle school students. The School Psychologist will provide psycho-educational assessments, support intervention teams, and respond to student behavioral and mental health needs. This role is integral to fostering a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-educational evaluations in compliance with IDEA
Perform evaluations for 504 Plans
Respond to crisis situations and assist with behavior de-escalation
Provide non-emergency consultation to school counselors and staff
Participate as an active member of SAP, MTSS, and Child Study teams
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification
Experience conducting evaluations and working with K8 students
Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and crisis management
Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
