Provides overall coordination, development, facilitation and operations of the Palliative Care Program at Hendrick Medical Center. Collaborates effectively with physicians, patients, families, and other departments to promote this service line. Works in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in an active practice to deliver palliative care to patients and families.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
- Clinical Background - Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- 2 years management experience
- Current RN License
- Current Driver's License
- Accountable for the regulatory requirements, function and duties
- Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
- Demonstrate advocate of quality and cost effective care
- Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills
- Deals effectively with community/consumers
- Understand the physical, psychosocial and spiritual concerns/problems of palliative patients and families

- Compose applicable policies and procedures
