Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Clinical Assistant/Clinical Care Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support clinical operations across outpatient settings, ensuring seamless patient care delivery. Your expertise will help coordinate patient services, assist medical staff, and uphold the highest standards of clinical support within a fast-paced, trauma-informed environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient well-being while gaining comprehensive experience in diverse medical specialties.

You will also be expected to be very hands-on with therapies, scans and other duties in the clinic, that keep environment clean and tidy.

Expectation with being involved in all events, occasions and plans to expand and grow the business, as well as, bringing your own knowledge, expertise and connections into the environment. Someone who also has great leadership skills and a great team player.

You will be expected to be good with using computers, technology, helping create daily notes, and making plans for clients, as well as following up with clients well-being on a weekly basis.

Great interpersonal skills is a must, a team player, someone caring, considerate and nurturing, and physical stamina.

Being invested and interested in natural medicine and holistic health as part of a lifestyle is preferred.

Good stamina for work, self motivated.

Willing to work at least 1 or more weekends a month.

Experience with Starting IVs and doing blood draws is a bonus.

Duties

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray imaging, and basic life support during emergencies or routine care
  • Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently, documenting patient encounters, ICD coding, and updating medical records with precision
  • Conduct initial assessments in outpatient clinics or hospital units, ensuring proper triage and prioritization of patient needs
  • Monitor patient physiology and vital signs continuously, alerting providers to any abnormalities or urgent concerns
  • Facilitate communication between patients and medical teams, providing excellent patient service and addressing questions or concerns promptly
  • Assist with hospital experience procedures including inpatient admissions, discharge planning, and coordination within Level I and Level II trauma centers or specialized units like PICU or Geriatrics

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical settings with a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge , wellness, holistic medicine, functional medicine or wellness spa experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with EHR systems, scribing, documentation standards in environments or clinic settings
  • Knowledge of physiology, emergency medicine protocols, medication administration techniques, and basic life support certification is a bonus
  • Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs monitoring, and assist in emergency response situations efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments such as clinics
  • Excellent communication skills focused on patient service excellence and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
