Job Requirements:
  • Have experience in the field of autism and special needs, education, mental health or ABA
  • Minimum 6 months – 1 years’ experience with ABA. BA/BS preferred in the fields of psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, school psychology, education, special education, ABA, or related field
  • Available primarily 2pm on multiple days per week; able to maintain consistent schedule; Commit to 1 year of employment
  • Possess strong clinical insight, and critical thinking skills
  • Bilingual speaking therapists highly desired
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license and driver's insurance

Job Responsibilities:
  • Be fun, energetic, and motivating for the children and families we work with
  • Provide skills training services and/or behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, adults and their families
  • Part-time (up to 25 hours per week dependent on the Technician’s and client's availability and degree); available after 2pm on multiple days per week; reliable
  • Travel between clients’ homes within an hour of Dallas
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions including session notes and data collection
  • Provide feedback to parents/caregivers under the direction of the BCBA/LBA
  • Collaborate with other technicians and clinical staff in the agency, as well as schools and other therapies client's receive
  • Able to work as a technician who implements treatment plans under the supervision of the BCBA/LBA, seeking out additional support and supervision from clinical team as needed
  • Participate in on-going trainings and supervision.
Must meet all training and certification requirements

Physical Demands

  • Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
  • Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
  • Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)

*ABA Sign-On Bonus is paid after 90 days working with clients. Bonus will vary based on ABA work experience, education, certification and meeting all job requirements.
