As an RBT, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines, fostering independence.
- Use applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Support clients during educational activities and facilitate engagement in structured teaching sessions aligned with individualized care plans.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, session reports, and updates on client behavior and responses, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans that reflect each client’s evolving needs.
- Uphold safety standards by adhering to all protocols related to patient care, medical records management, and confidentiality requirements.
- Engage in ongoing training related to behavioral health, behavior management strategies, and medical terminology to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies effectively.
- Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment focused on positive outcomes.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
