School Psychologist (Virtual)

Job Summary (MUST HAVE CLEAR CREDENTIAL)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to provide virtual psychological services to students across various educational settings. The ideal candidate will conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and collaborate with school staff and families to support students' mental health and educational success. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while making a meaningful impact on student well-being and development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing, to identify students’ needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans, including behavior management strategies and safety plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on child & family counseling, behavioral health, social-emotional development, and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and review IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
• Manage case documentation accurately within medical records systems, adhering to medical terminology standards.
• Assist in early intervention programs and conduct intake assessments for new students requiring psychological support.
• Apply evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and other behavioral health techniques to support students with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Offer crisis management services, including crisis intervention and conflict management, to ensure student safety.
• Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information related to patient care and medical documentation.
• Stay informed about current best practices in school psychology, special education, and related fields through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Valid school psychologist certification/license for the relevant state or region.
• Proven experience working with children in educational or clinical settings, including experience with students with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, psychological testing, diagnostic evaluation, and behavioral health interventions.
• Expertise in child & family counseling, crisis intervention, social work, case management, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, patient assessment procedures, and safety planning.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment using telehealth platforms while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Experience working with diverse populations of students across various age groups is preferred. This position provides an opportunity to support student mental health remotely while utilizing a comprehensive skill set in school psychology and behavioral health practices.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
