Under the guidance of the Program Director, the Behavior Technician manages a range of responsibilities crucial to the smooth operation of our programs and the well-being of our clients. From coordinating care to supervising client activities and maintaining ROWI standards, your role is pivotal in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Coordination: Oversee the daily logistics including transportation, doctor visits, and client orientation on admission day.
  • Program Management: Ensure all programs are delivered with the highest standard of care; supervise and facilitate client participation in scheduled groups and activities.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain adherence to Joint Commission Standards, complete documentation promptly, and ensure all processes are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Communication: Act as a role model with a positive and professional demeanor; maintain clear and effective communication with both staff and clients’ families.
  • Operational Support: Assist in various operational needs such as maintaining facility cleanliness and coordinating daily meals.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

  • Effective time management and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and documentation within electronic medical records (KIPU).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • RBT preferred
  • At least one year of experience working with adolescents in a therapeutic setting
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; experience driving with minimum two years behind the wheel.

This role pays $22-$24 per hour.
