ART provides behavioral health therapy services to infants and children impacted by autism or other developmental disabilities through our in-clinic delivery models.

BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN- Full-Time opportunities available!!

Entry Level Pay Rate: $17

Entry Level with Degree: $18+ per hour

RBT certificate and 1+ year experience:: $20+ per hour

ABA Behavior Technician

As a Technician with Autism Response Team, you work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as you interact directly with your clients implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implementing treatment plans may involve teaching individuals adaptive skills, communication skills, self-care skills, and social skills to improve their quality of life.

What We Are Looking For:

  • BA/BS completed or in progress preferred. (Preferred majors: Psychology, Education, Child Development, or other related fields).
  • Minimum Requirement - High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience working with children, and/or individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities using the principles of ABA-based behavioral therapy preferred.
  • Willing to get RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Certified if not already obtained.
  • Must be self-motivated, responsible, honest, and articulate.
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor; be well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and work well under pressure.
  • Politely interact with individuals and families who may be uncooperative or aloof.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure if and when a client demonstrates behaviors such as repetitive body movements, repeated vocalizations, aggression, self-injury, tantrums, etc.
  • Ability to serve culturally and linguistically diverse families.
  • Be comfortable working in-clinic and client homes.
  • Effectively communicate with others (clients, family members, agency staff).
  • Accept, follow and implement direction from agency representatives.
  • Ability to be creative, spontaneous, excited, and animated in your gestures, facial expressions, and voice interaction

Other Requirements:

  • Have reliable transportation, current liability insurance for the vehicle, and a clean driving record.
  • Have a telephone and reliable method to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.

About Autism Response Team (ART)

Locally owned and operated, Autism Response Team has been serving the special needs population of North Texas for nearly a decade. ART provides a unique curriculum designed to enable individuals with special needs to participate in life’s activities. We provide services across the clinic, home, community, educational settings, and telehealth service delivery models. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts will carefully craft an assessment-based intervention to address these challenges, and thus, increase the functioning of the learner in their daily life. We aim to involve the whole family and provide education regarding the autism diagnosis to empower our families for hope and optimal outcomes.
