Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW required)Job Description:The Hemodialysis RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments while ensuring adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and individualized patient care plans. The nurse will also support Med-Surg functions as needed and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of Hemodialysis experienceMinimum 2 years of Med-Surg experienceBSN requiredActive NYS RN LicenseBLS certificationMinimum 2 years total RN experienceCharge nurse experience preferredKey Responsibilities:Perform and monitor hemodialysis treatments for acute and chronic patientsAssess patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventionsManage equipment, troubleshoot alarms, and ensure safety throughout treatmentDocument assessments, vitals, treatment details, and patient responsesProvide patient education regarding dialysis and care plansCollaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams
