Join Our Team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)!

At the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA), we are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families through high-quality behavioral support. We are seeking a passionate and skilled BCBA to provide services throughout San Diego County—with a special opportunity to support clients in the Imperial Valley (El Centro) region.

This is a unique position for locally based San Diego BCBAs who want to maintain a flexible full-time schedule while making a meaningful impact in other communities.

Cities may include Brawley, El Centro, Imperial Valley, etc.

As part of our dynamic team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working with a collaborative, mission-driven organization that values professional growth, flexibility, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and case workers.
  • Maintain detailed records of client treatment and progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client support.
  • Stay current on best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis and contribute to program development.
  • Complete 25-30 billable hours per week.
  • Maintain flexibility for afternoon client supervision.
  • Willingness to complete two overnight trips per month to support clients in Imperial Valley (El Centro).

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification and relevant state licensure.
  • Minimum two years of experience providing ABA therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel within Imperial Valley as needed.
