Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and a passion for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. This role involves diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The Psychiatrist will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. We do not do substance abuse, this is a mental health clinic. All assessments and evaluations are in person.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Provide psychotherapy and medication management, including psychopharmacology for various psychiatric disorders.
  • Work with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, ensuring appropriate care across different age groups.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake assessments, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with developmental disabilities or those requiring addiction counseling.
  • Participate in telehealth services to expand access to care for patients.
  • Engage in data collection and analysis to improve treatment outcomes and enhance service delivery.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric principles and practices, including experience in pediatric psychiatry and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in crisis management techniques and mental health counseling strategies.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively while demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field of psychiatry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $248,033.84 - $298,707.44 per year
