What You’ll Do As a Behavior Technician
You’ll work one-on-one with children using play-based ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy techniques to help them learn and grow. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting social skills like sharing and cooperative play
- Encouraging verbal and nonverbal communication through interactive activities
- Teaching emotional regulation and coping strategies
- Promoting positive behavior using reinforcement techniques
- Guiding motor skill development through structured play
- Enhancing problem-solving and thinking skills
- Encouraging daily living skills such as self-care and following routines

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work Availability Monday through Friday (2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) and possibly Saturdays (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
- Full Availbility for a 2-week paid training (Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
- Reliable transportation is required for this position. Candidates must be able to provide, upon request, a valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and valid auto insurance that includes them as a listed driver on the policy.
- Comfortable using a personal device for data entry (stipend provided)
- Physical ability to kneel, run, lift up to 35 lbs, and move quickly as needed
- Experience with children is a plus (e.g., school, daycare, or after-school programs)
- Background in Psychology, Child Development, or related fields is a plus
