About the Role
As a Therapist, you will deliver high-impact clinical services including assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention. Your work will directly support clients recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Conduct intake assessments, mental status exams, and reassessments
- Offer clinical diagnoses and treatment recommendations
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning
- Respond to mental health crises and conduct 5150 evaluations when needed
- Conduct utilization reviews and collaborate with the care team
- Deliver in-service trainings on behavioral health topics
Qualifications
- Current State of California license (AMFT, ACSW, or equivalent) OR appropriate certification for therapy services
- Strong understanding of addiction treatment, mental health systems, and recovery models (including 12-step programs)
- CPR/First Aid Certified; recent TB and health screening required
- Knowledge of HIPAA, ethical boundaries, and clinical documentation standards
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations and teams

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
