Behavior Technician (RBT) - Center Based - PART-Time

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Allegheny Behavior Analysis Services, LLC,(ABAS) is a 1:1 instructor responsible for the day-to-day assessment, teaching, analysis, and implementation of the child’s skills and behavior programs in a center based environment. ABAS specializes in providing services to the early intervention population and young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Programming is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Verbal Behavior. All RBT's must be trained in these principles and are expected to implement them throughout their sessions with their clients.

All new hires are required to obtain the RBT certification within one month of hire. Assistance is provided for obtaining the RBT certification.

This position is a great opportunity for those pursuing their BCBA certification. We offer free supervision for employees who are BCBA candidates.

Responsibilities Include:

-Provide direct 1:1 instruction with children while following the treatment plan.

-Utilize natural teaching, direct instruction, and encourage communication and play.

-Take data throughout the session with our data collection application.

-Write objective and quantitative session notes at the end of each session that will be sent to insurance.

-Participate in monthly clinical reviews to analyze client progress.

-Become familiar with teaching verbal behavior, social skills, and daily living skills.

-Participate in a monthly professional development training.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (Required)

- Experience working with children with ASD or other disabilities (Preferred)

- Applied Behavior Analysis experience (Preferred)

- Mandated Reporter certification

- FBI clearance (DHS) (Act 114)

-Child Abuse Clearance (Act 33)

-PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)

-CPR certification

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
