Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your expertise will help improve the quality of life for our clients by fostering independence and enhancing their skills through targeted interventions.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles to support clients in achieving their goals.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
• Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective interventions.
• Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Provide support in behavior management strategies to help clients navigate challenging behaviors effectively.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and terminology, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in teaching techniques that promote skill acquisition in various settings, including home and community environments.

Requirements

• Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
• Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Familiarity with special education practices and patient care standards.
• Ability to collect data accurately and use it to inform treatment decisions effectively.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and behavioral health concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
