Center based ABA Therapists for afterschool program
Tuesday-Friday 3:30-5:30
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. As an ABA Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective patient care and support.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans for clients using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the needs and progress of clients.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and intake forms, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide support in special education settings as needed, ensuring that clients receive appropriate educational interventions.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations to identify specific needs of clients with developmental disabilities.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Experience
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children and individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities and other disabilities.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and patient care protocols.
- Experience in data collection and analysis related to client progress in therapeutic settings.
- Background in special education or related fields is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
