After School Counselor

We’re currently looking to expand our team and welcome candidates interested in joining us. We're seeking people who take initiative, communicate effectively with both children and adults, and thrive in group settings—whether leading a small circle or managing a large, active crowd.

We’re looking for adaptable role models with high integrity who are ready to contribute to a warm, engaging, and safe after-school environment. Our staff members lead daily activities, support the flow of the program, and maintain a positive and professional presence throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in both structured and unstructured activities with groups of children.
• Actively support the day-to-day operations of the after-school program.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment aligned with Adat+ values.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, enforcing all safety procedures and behavioral expectations.
• Build relationships with students, families, and team members in a respectful and responsive manner.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to run, walk, stand, and fully engage in activities.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs.
• Commitment to upholding a safe, equitable, and inclusive space for all.
• Experience working with children is strongly preferred.

This is a part-time, seasonal position running from August 2025 through June 2026

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 21 per week
