ABA Behavior Interventionists / Technicians / Specialists / RBT's

Behavior Therapy Clinic, one of the most established agencies (25+ years) in the Los Angeles area is looking for experienced Behavior Interventionists to work with children with autism and related disorders .

BCBA, BCaBA, and RBT supervision provided. Our interventionists assist in the application of behavioral programs that are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and specifically designed for each particular client. School based assignments involve supporting students through the school day with challenging behaviors. Assignments additionally involve working with the clients teaching play skills, social skills, language skills, attention skills, and self-help skills. The interventionist must integrate knowledge and capability to help clients manage their behaviors and must record daily progress in notes and on data collection forms. He or she will receive ongoing training and supervision and have regular communication with BCBA supervisors. Candidates require attention to detail both clinically and administratively.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have experience with managing high levels of behaviors
  • Required: Proof of HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Applicant must be a punctual, responsible, dedicated individual who is friendly, motivated, and have a high level of patience.
  • Live Scan Fingerprint Clearance (Criminal Background Check)
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance (does not mean a vehicle is needed).
  • Driving is a key requirement for this position to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role. As such, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance may be required, particularly in situations where alternate modes of transportation are either unavailable or not deemed reasonable.

Compensations and Benefits:

  • Starting hourly ranges from $24-$28 an hour depending on experience and education.
