Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient SUD Counselor to lead our clinical team at New Dawn Treatment Center.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive therapeutic environment, providing individual and group counseling.
  • Facilitate appropriate didactic/process groups.
  • Provide appropriate community referrals.
  • Complete screenings, assessments, progress notes, treatment planning and discharge/transitions planning.
  • Complete utilization reviews as needed to obtain insurance authorization.

Qualifications

  • Must have current certification through CCAPP, CADTP or CAADE
  • Must have two years' experience working with chemically dependent individuals
  • Experience with EHR and complaint client charting
  • Must understand the principles and applications of evidenced based treatment modalities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
