Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families in need, providing guidance, resources, and advocacy. This position requires a strong commitment to improving the well-being of clients through effective communication, problem-solving, and support strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Provide counselling and support to individuals and families facing various challenges.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organisations, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in accordance with organisational policies.
- Facilitate workshops and support groups to empower clients and promote community engagement.
- Supervise junior staff members or interns, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their professional development.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and access to necessary services within the community.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Supervising experience is essential for overseeing staff or interns effectively.
- Mentoring skills are highly desirable to support the growth of less experienced team members.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and case management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,350.00 per week
