About Achievers Day School
Achievers Day School is a private, interdisciplinary program serving students with autism and developmental differences. Our classrooms are small (max 12), structured, and designed for success—with built-in collaboration between teachers, RBTs/BTs, speech and occupational therapists, and BCBAs.
We combine the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with the heart of education. As a paraprofessional, you'll work alongside teachers in classrooms that are structured, purposeful, and rooted in dignity and independence.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a compassionate and dependable RBT/BT to step into the role of a paraprofessional to join our growing school team. This hybrid role bridges ABA therapy and classroom instruction—ideal for someone who thrives in structure but loves seeing students learn and grow across the school day.
This is a non-billable position—meaning no session notes, no billing requirements, and no chasing authorizations. Just direct, meaningful work with students in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Implement ABA-aligned strategies during classroom instruction and centers to assist in creating a calm, collaborative classoom
- Assist with Instruction in small-group rotations planned by the teacher.
- Use your RBT knowledge to reinforce independence, social communication, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.
- Collaborate daily with teachers, RBTs, and therapists to ensure consistency across academic and therapy plans (i.e. reinforcing a students communication with an AAC device)
- Promote dignity, safety, and a positive learning environment.
- Support classroom transitions including drop off/pick up, lunch/snack supervision, and hygiene routines when an RBT is unavailable and as needed.
- Assist with curriculum material prep.

- Participation in 2-3 special school events each year.
- Extended school breaks following Hillsborough County Schools and/or Pasco County Schools holiday calendars
- No evenings, weekends, or billable documentation.
