Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop comprehensive support plans.
• Assess student needs and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Connect students and families with community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and well-being.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW, LMSW, or equivalent) with experience in school settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with K-12 students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and educational regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information sensitively and professionally.
• Crisis intervention and conflict resolution experience preferred.
