Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

What Will You Do?
Within the framework of the organization is responsible to be a professional caregiver who provides assessment, counseling, treatment and gives referrals and advocacy services for person’s served. The Psychiatrist is also responsible for upholding the highest quality care, keeping with all standards and bylaws set by government agencies as well as Pine Rest and client hospital/agency. The Psychiatrist must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm about the program and the Pine Rest organization.
What Does This Role Require?
All new employees are subject to a criminal background check and education verification which may include sending a copy of your high school diploma, GED, or college transcripts.

What Does This Role Require?
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Current Michigan State license as physician and surgeon.
- May require National Certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or board eligible within 5 years.
- Completion of an accredited four-year psychiatric residency program.
