Location, Location, Location

This position’s primary place of work is located in a beautiful historic white building across the street from Colorado State University on College Ave in the heart of Fort Collins, Colorado. With stunning decor and architecture, you will love coming to work at this historic building (drive by and take a look, you can't miss our white building with pink letters!)

Description

With a steady flow of referrals, this position allows you to build a full client load very quickly. It also offers a base pay as you build, ensuring your success from day one! This position provides flexibility in your schedule by setting your own session times. Our therapists are motivated to have a thriving career and to make a difference in the world (both are possible!). Your caseload can build very quickly at Colorado Women's Center and our clinicians often build 20-25 client hours or more per week. Our specialties include but are not limited to anxiety, work-life balance, depression, relationships, attachment issues, trauma, self-esteem, body image, social media addiction, couples counseling, and EMDR. Our clients come to us with specific issues related to teen, young adult, midlife, and senior stages of life. Our therapists and counselors are trained in a variety of modalities including Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy.

Requirements

A graduate-level psychological counseling-related degree
A license that is currently active in the state of Colorado
PhD or PsyD
Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Professional Counselor (LPC)
Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT, MFTC)
Social Worker Candidate (SWC)
Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC)

Primary Responsibilities

Provide counseling and therapy services to Colorado Women’s Center clients in person and online.
Provide consultations
Conduct assessments
Intake screenings for new clients
Write client notes and other necessary documentation
Client Scheduling
Attend staff and professional development meetings as scheduled

You will have the opportunity to develop an excellent career while having a flexible schedule in a work environment that supports the self-care and mental health of its staff first and foremost! Working in a caring profession is not easy; therefore, we make it a priority to prevent burnout so we can provide top-notch client care, employment opportunities, and a TEAM-oriented work culture that is supportive of all employees! You will have a team of Wellness Coordinators that will quickly provide you with a full client load, leaving any of the "selling" out of it. You will have a full Billing Team that will take care of all the financial aspects of client care, allowing you to build rapport with your clients and focus on what you love to do! And lastly, you will be a part of an incredible mission, surrounded by like-minded practitioners and administration all striving to create a positive impact on the lives of women in our community and beyond!

Please NOTE: This position starts hourly for new hires with the potential to transition to a salaried role. We offer a healthy stipend as you build your caseload and a competitive compensation model. Given the high demand for our services, we can provide our therapists with ample referrals, enabling them to quickly achieve a full client load. Regardless of whether our therapists are hourly or salaried, once a clinician builds a full caseload and becomes full-time, they will qualify for benefits.
