South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (SCYAP) is seeking a Licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist to provide assessments and psychotherapy to children, adolescents and their families. This position is face-to-face and located in our Charleston outpatient family clinic weekdays during the afternoon (Monday-Thursday 2:00-7:00 pm, Fridays 2:00-5:00 pm.)
What SCYAP asks of you:
· Experience working with trauma treatment and a positive attitude and dedication to working with at-risk population
· Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent clinical judgement with willingness and desire to work collaboratively with treatment team
· High energy, motivated individuals with strong work ethic and ability to work independently
· Maintain current, legible and adequate documentation for client’s chart. Assures that all required client documentation submitted timely.
What SCYAP requires of you:
· Master’s degree in human services field
· Experience in mental health, counseling or working with youth and families
· Licensed by the state of South Carolina as one of the following:
- LMSW
- LISW
- LPC/LPC-A
- LMFT/LMFT-A
· Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with required registration and insurance
-Commitment to working 15-25 hours per week, compensation based on services provided/fee-for-service.
