Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Tulsa, OK. The Licensed Professional Counselor will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to children aged 3 to 17. Day-to-day tasks include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing innovative therapy methods such as play therapy and animal-assisted therapy, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with families to ensure comprehensive care. The counselor will also participate in team meetings, maintain accurate client records, and contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment for the children.

Qualifications
  • Licensure as a Professional Counselor
  • Experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions for children and adolescents
  • Proficiency in innovative therapeutic methods, including play therapy and animal-assisted therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans
  • Experience in family coaching to support the child's therapy outside of sessions
  • Compassion, patience, and commitment to fostering a nurturing environment
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Experience in a nature-based therapy setting is a plus
