Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This position offers an opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to support a Readiness Program serving PreK to 3/5-year-old students. Located in Bronx, NY, this role is based at a single campus with no travel required. The contract extends for the full school year and provides a manageable student caseload to allow focused, individualized support.

Key Details:

  • Location: Bronx, NY
  • Position Type: Contract, full school year
  • Hours: 14 hours per week, 2 days per week
  • Work Schedule: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Program Served: Readiness Program for PreK to 3/5-year-old children
  • Student Caseload: Small and focused
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite, with no travel between locations
  • Interview: Onsite interview required

Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families, developing individualized plans, and providing consultation to support student development within the K-12 Readiness Program framework. The candidate will utilize expertise in child development to address learning and behavioral needs effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed School Psychologist with the appropriate state certification
  • Experience working with early childhood populations (PreK to early elementary)
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Commitment to supporting childrens educational and emotional growth
