Intake Coordinator (CSA / FIT Program)

Location:
Brockton CSA/HBT Team
Hours: 30 per week
Salary Range: $31/hr - $32/hour

What You’ll Do:

Serve as the vital single point of entry for children and families accessing CBHI services (CSA, FIT, Home Base). You will be the bridge between families in need and the critical care they require.
  • Triage & Process Referrals: Act as the first contact, calling families within 24 hours to explain services and obtain consent.
  • Coordinate Care: Maintain referral logs, manage waitlists, and collaborate with Program Directors to ensure timely service activation.
  • Verify Eligibility: Check insurance via online portals and work with billing staff to confirm coverage.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate records in line with MCE and BAMSI standards, upholding strict confidentiality.

What You Bring:
  • Education: Master’s degree in the human services field.
  • Experience: 2+ years working with youth/families with mental/behavioral health needs.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of Wraparound Process & Systems of Care Principles.
    • Sensitivity to diverse cultures and family dynamics.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and flexibility to participate in an after-hours referral rotation.
