Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker position is available for the 2025/2026 school year in a K-12 setting located in Michigan. This role focuses on providing vital social-emotional and behavioral support to students, ensuring their well-being and academic success through collaboration and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver social-emotional and behavioral support tailored to student needs
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive environment
• Participate in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), develop targeted intervention plans, and maintain accurate documentation
• Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and monitor student progress to adjust interventions as necessary

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker license with a 310 endorsement
• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Completion of a state-approved School Social Worker program
• Registration with the Michigan Department of Education and licensure by the Michigan Board of Social Work
• Familiarity with special education law, IEP procedures, and behavioral intervention strategies
• Prior experience working in a school environment is preferred but not required
