Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a licensed School Psychologist to join a district partner in Denton, Texas. This full-time hybrid role offers the best of both worlds: on-site collaboration with students and staff, combined with the flexibility of remote work.

Position Overview

As a School Psychologist in Denton ISD, youll provide evaluations, interventions, and collaborative support that directly impact student success. Your expertise will guide data-informed decisions, strengthen IEP teams, and foster inclusive school environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments

  • Support special education eligibility and develop IEPs

  • Provide behavioral and mental health consultation to staff and families

  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to individualize student support

  • Participate in crisis intervention and prevention planning

  • Deliver services through a mix of on-site and virtual sessions (hybrid model)

Required Qualifications

  • Masters or Specialist Degree in School Psychology

  • Active Texas LSSP credential (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Previous school-based experience preferred

  • Knowledge of IDEA, FBA/BIP processes, and IEP development

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Local Contract (W-2)

  • $49$56/hour (based on experience)

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Travel Contract (W-2)

  • $1,700$1,978 weekly gross pay
