Job Title: School Psychologist

Weekly Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (7.5-hour day with 30-minute paid lunch)
Guaranteed Hours: Full-time (5x7.5-hour shifts/week)
Contract Length: 21 Weeks
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced School Psychologist to provide coverage for an FMLA leave during the Fall 2025 semester. This is an on-site role supporting Pre-K/Early Childhood students. The psychologist will be instrumental in early intervention, screening, case studies, and collaborative decision-making through MTSS and weekly child find meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening and case studies for students transitioning from early intervention using Linder’s Play-Based Assessment.
- Lead weekly Child Find Team Meetings to review new student screening data.
- Participate in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), addressing new domains as they arise.
- Complete approximately 10–15 full case studies and screen around 40–50 students over the course of the assignment.
- Support student evaluation, data collection, and reporting.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including educators, administrators, and parents.
Requirements:
- License: Must hold a valid PEL (Professional Educator License) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
Experience:
- Prior experience working with early childhood/pre-K students.
- Familiarity with Linder’s Play-Based Assessment strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development required.
