Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Morgantown, WV. This position involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including psychiatric assessments, psychotherapy, medication management, and advanced interventional treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato. You will lead and supervise a team of Advanced Practice Providers within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on innovative mental health treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments, provide psychotherapy, and manage ongoing medication treatments for adult patients.
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (PMHNPs/PAs) to expand the team's psychiatric care capacity.
• Offer innovative treatment options such as TMS and Spravato, providing cutting-edge solutions for patient care.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with mental health clinicians to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule, with no mandatory on-call requirements.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
• Completed or in-progress residency training in an accredited Psychiatry program.
• Active license to practice medicine in West Virginia.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Interest in and knowledge of interventional psychiatry (TMS, Spravato, or other advanced treatments) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care.
• Previous supervisory experience, particularly with Advanced Practice Providers.
• Familiarity with innovative psychiatric treatment modalities such as TMS and Spravato.
