Job Overview:
We are seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Morgantown, WV. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care including assessments, psychotherapy, medication management, and cutting-edge interventional treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will lead and mentor Advanced Practice Providers while contributing to the development of innovative mental health treatments. We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated professional to help us make a real impact on the mental health of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, provide psychotherapy, and manage medications for adult patients.
- Lead and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (e.g., PMHNPs/PAs) in delivering high-quality care.
- Utilize interventional treatments such as TMS, Spravato, and other advanced psychiatric therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, evidence-based mental health care.
- Embrace clinical leadership opportunities, contributing to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements:
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Completion or current completion of residency in Psychiatry from an accredited program.
- Active license to practice medicine in West Virginia.
- Valid DEA registration.
- A genuine interest in interventional psychiatry (e.g., TMS, Spravato, or other advanced treatments).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with or enthusiasm for advanced psychiatric treatments.
- Prior experience in clinical leadership or team supervision.
