Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families to create a welcoming and understanding environment.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy that meets the unique needs of each client.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans to support clients in their mental health journey.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
• Ensure the timely completion of all professional documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with a team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Independent license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) as required by state regulation.
• An educational background that has led to or will result in professional licensing.
• Demonstrated passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development, including supervision and continuing education.
• A collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Effective time management skills for efficient completion of administrative tasks.
