Location: Ionia, MI (serving schools in the surrounding district)

Contract Details:

• Start Date: August 14 (aligned with teacher return)
• Student Return: August 20
• Hours: Approximately 7.25 to 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Contract Length: Full school year (185 days)

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct assessments, develop individual support plans, and collaborate with educational staff to address student needs
• Facilitate interventions that support student social-emotional well-being and academic success
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations
• Work independently, as district supervision by para-professionals or nursing staff is not provided

Qualifications:

• Michigan Social Work SSW certification required
• Previous experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
• Ability to engage and build rapport with students across a wide age range
• Strong communication and organizational skills
