Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-time Social Worker position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Farmington, MI. This contract role begins as soon as possible and is designed for the current school year. The social worker will provide essential services across multiple grade levels, working onsite to address the social and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseload of K-12 students across several school buildings
  • Deliver direct social work support and interventions to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to promote student well-being
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school district policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan Social Worker license (MI SSW) is required
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
