Behavior Technician – Evenings (ABA Therapy, delivered inside a Juvenile Detention Center)

Looking to make a difference? Join our team as a Behavior Technician, working 1:1 with children with autism in their homes in the Highland Park, Michigan area. You’ll deliver ABA therapy programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help children build skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

Schedule:

  • Must be fully open and available to accept this assignment as scheduled inside the time block Monday–Friday, 2:00pm. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Candidates with additional Weekend availability highly preferred

Requirements:

  • RBT Training Certificate. If you don't already have one, you can obtain one for free through Autism Partnership Foundation here: Courses.autismpartnershipfoundation.org/offers/it285gs6/checkout
  • Child or Pediatric CPR (tested on a dummy) + 1st Aid certificate/s.
  • Your own Reliable Transportation
  • Clear Criminal Background
  • Cell phone with unlimited Internet access (monthly stipend for use of your own phone is provided).
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Passion for working with kids
  • ABA experience a plus, but not required
