Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position is for a Social Worker supporting K-12 students in a school setting, located in Lansing, MI. The contract runs from August 26th, 2025, through June 6th, 2026, with a full-time, on-site schedule of 35-40 hours per week. The caseload includes 40-50 students primarily on Special Education (SPED) plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support services to students with IEPs
• Collaborate with school staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education planning
• Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed or credentialed Social Worker with experience in school settings
• Knowledge of Special Education processes and IEP requirements
• Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively
• Strong counseling and communication skills
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
