POSITION SUMMARY:

The BCBA will work under the Clinical Director, responsible for developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and supervising Behavior Technicians (BTs) delivering ABA therapy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments/Analyses and curricular assessments as assigned.
  • Develop and implement BIPs in a timely manner.
  • Train caregivers and staff on BIP implementation using competency-based documentation.
  • Graph, analyze, and interpret data on target and replacement behaviors.
  • Complete required reports and service logs in accordance with funding source guidelines.
  • Maintain BCBA certification through continuing education.
  • Provide ongoing treatment and assess client therapy needs.
  • Model and provide feedback on BIP implementation to caregivers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or related field.
  • BCBA certification required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Completion of CPR, fingerprinting, background checks, RBT training, and other required certifications.
  • Experience with working with individuals with intellectual disabilities

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

  • Employment Supervisor: Executive Director
  • Clinical Supervisor: Behavior Analyst
