Soho Integrative Psychological Services PLLC is comprised of two highly esteemed group practices: NY Health Hypnosis & Integrative Therapy and Soho Integrative EMDR. We plan to open two additional practices next year: Soho Integrative Eating Therapy & Soho Somatic Healing Therapy, focusing on eating disorders and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.

We are a unique practice in that we are not a fee-for-service mental health practice but a group of highly esteemed Clinical Psychologists who believe in order to truly help people, we need to strive to be the best therapists we can be. We firmly believe that we cannot be the best if we don't make growth and helping others grow a priority. We are highly selective when choosing the next person to join our practice, as this will be an individual for whom we will fully invest in helping to grow as a therapist, as well as in our practice. This person should be well-educated and passionate about learning new modalities and view this position not only as their next job, but also as a career path in which he or she can grow with his or her colleagues and take on new responsibilities as the practice grows.

Training: Hypnotherapy, Eating Disorder, Psychedlics & EMDR

At the current moment, we are only accepting those interested in the hypnosis track, but there may be options to train in and/or transfer to the other tracks mid 2026.

No experience in hypnosis or EMDR is necessary, but a strong desire to learn integrative modalities is a must. Each candidate will get very thorough training in either hypnosis as well as decide specialties areas in which they would like additional training. These include, but are not limited to, training in insomnia, relationships, eating disorders, anxiety, or other forms of therapy such as ACT, EFT, or couples therapy. All training is paid and paid for, meaning we both pay for your time while you are training, as well as pay for flights, meals, and accommodations for additional conferences that you would like to attend.

A typical initial training period tends to be the first 4-6 weeks of employment. At this time, you will receive paid formal training through highly respected institutions as well as extensive training within the practice. Formal training in hypnosis is done through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (SCEH), or an ASCH-approved program.

Supervision & Team Meetings

In addition to formal training, each new hire will also have weekly supervision with a primary supervisor, as well as rotate through each member of the practice to learn additional skills and to get to know each person. We also have biweekly team meetings, and biweekly small group case concentration as well as group support for one another.

We strive to create not only a professional, but a fun and supportive environment, as we firmly believe that this is essential in making sure we are cohesive and the best we can be for our patients. We also have team dinners, host events, and attend out of state conferences together as a way to better ourselves, connect, and share with others.‍

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Doctorate (Psy.D or Ph.D) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and be licensed in New York or license eligible. Exceptions will be made for the right candidate if they are willing to get licensed in New York.

The position is hybrid, but we do require two days in person at our Soho Office location, and one evening which can be virtual or in-person.

The candidate must have an interest in learning about private practice management and a desire to shift and develop as the practice grows. This requires not only strong clinical skills, but also strong leadership skills and the ability to be self-driven and organized.

‍Salary

We offer a high base salary based on therapeutic skills and years of experience and provide ample opportunity for raises, bonuses, and growth within the company. Our base salary of starts at $100k+ and is based on 25 patients per week with an estimated 6 weeks paid time off. We are not fee for service, but a high starting salary plus substantial benefits with substantial potential to make more.

On top of base salary of $100k+, we offer exponential bonuses ranging from $5k to $170k for seeing between 26 and 40 patients per week for 45-minute psychotherapy sessions.
