Paramount Builders is looking for a skilled Measure & Service Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The Measure & Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customer homes and completing window measures for newly sold jobs, as well as completing small repair services when needed on past windows, roofing, siding and gutter jobs. This job is ideal for someone with a construction background, with experience installing windows, siding, soffit and other vinyl and metal building materials as well as roofs.

What You’ll Do:

• Take accurate precise measures of windows and doors for residential homes utilizing our software applications and standard tape measure readings
• Complete lite services on previous installations that are needed on roofing, siding, windows, gutters, gutter protection and bathtubs and showers on residential homes
• Services can include: replacing sashes, screens, completing interior work, caulking, cleaning gutters, recaulking bathtub and showers, repairing or replacing trim coil on windows, doors or facing boards of a home, etc.
• Responsible for the proper and safe residential at-home installation/execution of products and services when services are needed on a previously installed job
• Utilize necessary tools for making repairs and/or adjustments to all items
• Inspect products and materials for defects, proper sizes, and potential malfunctions prior to installation
• Provide excellent customer service to the homeowners/customers through communication and actions
• Keep paperwork organized and track any notes that need to be taken during the service
• Responsible for assisting when needed with the warehouse; inventory, organize, pulling orders for installations and at times make deliveries of materials to jobsites

What We Require:

• 2 years of professional experience installing windows, roofing, siding, gutters, gutter protection and insulation
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must have professional experience using a brake tool for gutters and siding
• Basic computer skills with an ability to use a software application to enter data
• Positive attitude as well as excellent communication skills
• Great math skills
• Must have excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
• Must be able to move items weighing up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to climb a ladder and work roof heights
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, vendors, and the public

Hours/Schedule: 
 Full-time, 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year. Standard hours are M – F, 7:30 – 4:00 but some overtime including evening and weekend hours may be required to complete projects under deadlines

Compensation details: 25-28 Hourly Wage
