Job Summary:
The Clinical Director will provide leadership, oversight, and direction for all clinical operations of Alpas Wellness - Nova. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care in accordance with regulatory guidelines, ethical standards, and organizational values. The Clinical Director will oversee clinical staff, support program development, ensure documentation compliance, and serve as a key liaison between leadership and the clinical team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of all clinical and non-clinical functions and staff within the PHP
  • Ensure treatment planning, documentation, and care delivery align with licensing, accreditation, and payer standards
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings, clinical supervision, and case reviews
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing)
  • Monitor client progress and outcomes to ensure effective, client-centered care
  • Collaborate with administrative and medical leadership to ensure continuity of care and program effectiveness
  • Assist in responding to audits, incident reports, and regulatory or payer inquiries as needed
  • Evaluate and refine program policies, procedures, and workflows to improve clinical efficiency and outcomes
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, discipling, training of the Woodbury team
  • Works with the COO to maintain appropriate staffing to accommodate admissions of new clients
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and ethical clinical environment for staff and clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Licensure, Experience and Skills:

  • Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Active clinical license in the state (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD); supervisory credential preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health or substance use treatment.
    • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a behavioral health or PHP setting.
    • Familiarity with ASAM criteria, DSM-5, trauma-informed care, and integrated co-occurring treatment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage clinical teams and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
    • Knowledge of HIPAA, Joint Commission, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
    • EMR proficiency and experience in documentation compliance.

Schedule: 

  • Typical Monday - Friday with an occasional weekend and holiday.

Compensation:

  • Salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000, depending on experience
