Job Title: Behavior Technician
Current need in NEW BRITAIN, HARTFORD, MERIDEN, and MANCHESTER.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
- Collect data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment plans
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on progress and address any concerns
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior programs accurately
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Note: Prior experience as a Behavior Technician or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred, training can be available if needed. On the job training can be provided.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
