Located in Waterbury, CT, with positions also in nearby East Haven and surrounding areas, this contract role focuses on PreK-aged children (3-4 years old) within an early childhood school setting. The position offers both full-time and part-time options, providing flexibility to fit your professional needs.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify learning and developmental needs. Additionally, you may provide counseling support to enhance students' social and emotional well-being. Part-time roles involve a caseload shared between two psychologists, typically working 2-3 days on followed by 2-3 days off, allowing for a balanced schedule.

Key Qualifications And Experience

  • Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with early childhood populations, specifically PreK children (ages 3-4)
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
